Temple Beth El

Stamford, CT

This Conservative congregation in Stamford, Connecticut commissioned a Planning Study to explore renovating their circa 1970 facility.  The proposed design improvements include reconfiguring lobbies and gathering spaces and expanding the chapel to provide more seats for multi-purpose use.  New finishes, more casual meeting spaces and a more open floor plan will make the Temple more welcoming.

A new elevator was installed to make the facility more accessible. A new more welcoming entrance vestibule was completed and renovations of the bathrooms and finish upgrade is underway.

The scope of work calls for the replacement of the deteriorated copper and wood cladding, the addition of windows to bring natural light into the interior and the redesign of the main entrance to make it more inviting.
