St. John Fisher Parish Center
Boothwyn, PA
Brawer Hauptman + Larkin designed this new Parish Center for a Roman Catholic Church in Boothwyn, PA as an addition to the Church campus, helping to create a dynamic relationship between the existing Church and the new building. The new Center, which provides much needed social space, classrooms and offices as well as a new chapel, allows an area that served as parking to become a sheltered landscaped space that can be used for fellowship or worship. A covered walkway connects the two structures and provide a “gateway” to the complex from the parking area. A large multipurpose room can be used for social events, dinners or additional classroom space. The chapel provides an intimate worship space for about 80 people.
