Penn’s School of Medicine and Hospital collaborated on the development and construction of this 14,000 sf facility for the study amd treatment of sleep disorders. The Center is located in a University City Science Center building and contains four centrally monitored sleeping suites, exam rooms, offices, conference rooms, labs and an imaging room. One challenging aspect of the design was to provide a homey, comfortable environment for the patient sleep study rooms while meeting the technical and code requirements of a state-of-the-art medical facility.
