Ursinus College
Collegeville, PA
Brawer Hauptman + Larkin has been working with Ursinus College on a number of campus projects.
BH+L has designed a comprehensive renovation of the Lower Level of the College's dining hall in the Wismer Center. The project was on a tight schedule to allow for construction during the summer for a Fall 2024 opening. It transformed the food service and student activity areas of the iconic circular building into a state-of-the-art campus center. BH+L was able to fast-track the design effort to produce a Guaranteed Maximum Price document set in under two months from the initial contact phone call.
Renovations to the campus library includes an innovative Bloomberg Lab. The lab includes 12 state-of-the-art Bloomberg terminals—interactive workstations that allow students to receive and analyze real-time financial data. A small cafe completes the design.
With the completion of the Bloomberg Lab, design work began on a renovation of the library's first and second floors as well as a new entrance that faces the interior of the campus and provides accessibility.
General Contractor for these projects was GBuild Construction Managers.
